The highest point of Galicia is located in this geodestination, the summit of Pena Trevinca 2127 m.s.n.m. Its mountains are a protected natural space, with glacial lagoons and magnificent forests such as the Teixadal de Casaio, one of the largest yew forests in Europe. Different hiking trails lead us to know the natural charms of this Sierra de la Segundera. Other gastronomic products that this geodestination boasts are honey, the best in Galicia and versatile chestnut.

As for the cultural heritage, it is worth mentioning the majestic sanctuary of Las Ermitas, nestled in the deep valley of the river Bibei, of baroque style, wrapped in a mysterious native forest. A must-see for anyone who comes to this place.
