Courel is mountain and it is also human heritage, many of its villages are still populated today because they have served as a refuge for artists, writers, artisans, workers in livestock and organic agriculture...
The landscapes of these mountains are today integrated into the Biosphere Reserve Ribeira Sacra and Sierras de Oribio y Courel. They also guard a unique treasure; the Church of "San Pedro Fiz del Hospital de O Incio", the only Romanesque marble church in Spain, witness to the importance of the Camino de Santiago -French Way- that crosses this destination.
Destination for lovers of the mountain, hiking, ethnography, agriculture and livestock, for those seeking tranquility and good food.
